How the Simulator WorksOur free rugby world cup predictor lets you create your own tournament bracket. Reorder teams in each pool to simulate different standings, select which third-place teams qualify, and pick winners for every knockout match from Round of 16 to the Final.
Tournament FormatRugby World Cup 2027 features an expanded 24-team format, the largest in World Cup history. Teams are divided into 6 pools of 4 teams each. The top 2 teams from each pool automatically qualify for the Round of 16, along with the 4 best third-place teams.

Pool C: Argentina (Pumas), Fiji, Spain, Canada. Pool D: Ireland, Scotland, Uruguay, Portugal. Pool E: France, Japan (Brave Blossoms), USA, Samoa. Pool F: England, Wales, Tonga, Zimbabwe.
Knockout Stage BracketThe knockout stage begins with the Round of 16, followed by Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, the Bronze Final (3rd place playoff), and the Grand Final. Use our bracket predictor to simulate which teams will advance through each round.
Key DatesThe Rugby World Cup 2027 will be held in Australia from 1 October to 13 November 2027. This will be the third time Australia hosts the tournament, following 1987 (co-hosted with New Zealand) and 2003.
